At eluTAG, we focus on multi-tenant office and residential buildings, where a large number of drivers share a limited number of charge boxes.
Our unique software solution is designed around AC chargers up to 22kW due to their attractive price point combined with their sufficient charge times.
We believe that the preferred time to get EVs charged will be when the owners either work or sleep, thereby allowing for a slow, but also very cost efficient service.
How many charge boxes are truly needed? Will the building's power grid be able to handle the extra load? How to get paid for the tenants electricity usage?
To address these questions, we have designed a starter package called
Aim Small - Miss Small.
This package includes 2 charge boxes controlled by our unique booking system that can service up to 20 tenants.
If the building has charge boxes already installed, then the eluTAG system can be implemented if these chargers are OCPP 1.6J compatible.
The drivers can then download the eluTAG app to their cell phones and start booking charge times.
With the eluTAG system, there is no need for RFID tags, which often go missing.
No need to manually keep track of who used how many kWh.
No need to manually invoice drivers.
Such administrative tasks are automatically taken care of.
Charging EVs require large amounts of power; more than most buildings can handle. During peak hours, it is vital to have a power management system in place to control both cost and supply.
With a booking system controlling a limited number of shared charge boxes, the electricity usage will be spread out over a longer period of time. This helps avoid overloading the building's power grid.
Many building owners struggle with implementing payment systems that are both efficient for them and convenient for the users.
With eluTAG, the users credit card on file will be charged once a month, after which the building management gets reimbursed the same amount, minus our fees, with wire transfers to their bank account.
To maintain order amongst the EV parking spots, a robust and equitable driver process is required.
The eluTAG booking system is designed around a shared calendar, where the drivers can book charge times during which only they can operate the charger.
Nobody can cut in line, taking somebody else's spot.
With our solution, 20 EV owners can share 2 charge boxes with a controlled, high level of service.
